The Department of Defense's ("DOD") Defense Logistics Agency ("DLA") published a final rule to eliminate its FOIA regulations in today's issue of the Federal Register.  On February 6, 2018, DOD eliminated the need for component supplementary FOIA rules, which have been replaced with a single departmental-wide regulation.  The DLA’s rule is effective immediately.
